Our Top Six Reasons To Rent An Apartment
One of the most common questions we get asked by our rental clients is whether there are advantages of living in a unit or apartment complex as opposed to living in a house.
As experienced and professional property managers, Image Property say the answer to this question is “yes” and we offer our top six reasons for considering a move to this style of living.
Proximity to City and Play
If you are a young single or even a young couple, the chances are you have a busy social life unfettered by the restraints of children.
Unit and apartment-style living in the city is a bonus for this genre as it offers cheap public transport options. This means very little or no expensive taxi travel.
The same goes for couples who have their children off their hands. You can relax and party too!
Cheaper Than a Home
As a rule of thumb, apartment style renting is far cheaper than that of living in a house on a piece of land somewhere.
This style of living offers smaller homes with 1 or 2 bedrooms that is cheaper living, which is not the norm with a house that will offer 3 bedrooms minimum and its surrounding grounds.
Renting Means Low Commitment
Rather than buying a property and being tied down by a large mortgage, renting offers many freedoms and opportunities not open to property owners.
This is because generally rent is cheaper than a mortgage.
You are also able to move at will without the trouble of selling your property first.
Pool, Gym and Entertainment Areas
The extras that come with apartment style living are many and varied.
Many developments of this style offer extra amenities such as swimming pools, gyms, and shared barbeque / dining and entertainment areas.
Maintenance Free
If you rent anywhere there is very little maintenance involved with the structure of a building. Even your tap washers need to be replaced by your landlord.
Living in an apartment also means no lawns to mow, gardens to weed or mulch to spread.
How does it get any better than that?
Safe as Units
We have all heard the term ‘safe as houses’ but in the case of units and apartment complexes you possess even great safety.
This is because this style of community is usually gated or has at least one if not two levels of access to negotiate.
