Redcliffe shines for footy finals
It’s footy finals time and we couldn’t be more excited. The love of footy runs deep at Image; we’re the proud supporters of the junior footy community across the South East as sponsors of The Carina Tigers and Major sponsor of Aspley Devils and Redcliffe Dolphins.
This weekend’s Queensland Rugby League Intrust Grand final between the Wynnum Manly Seagulls and the Burleigh Bears will be played at Dolphin Stadium, Redcliffe.
Image’s newest recruit, Cameron Cullen, is more than just an avid supporter though. This time last year Cameron led the Dolphins to a grand final victory, bringing the premiership trophy back to the Peninsula for the first time in 12 years.
“There aren’t many communities more passionate about Rugby League than Redcliffe and captaining the team in such a memorable game was truly an honour,” said Cameron.
Not long after that final, Cameron underwent ACL surgery and was ruled out of playing this season. Cameron redirected his passion and enthusiasm into property and his role at Image Property Redcliffe.
“While I miss my footy every day, I’m enjoying the new challenge of helping clients to achieve their property goals in a community I love,” said Cameron.
“It’s a shame that the red and white won’t be competing for the trophy this Saturday, but the great Dolphins Stadium and our much-loved Peninsular will be on show.”
